Temple of Boom is a fast-paced chaotic shooting game where you have to fight wave after wave of enemies, unlock powerful weapons, and master the game.
You start out in a temple built from old stone bricks, dimly lit by flickering torches that create an eerie atmosphere. Initially equipped with a basic gun, you must navigate a limited space while fighting off relentless waves of enemies, from monstrous creatures to dark-cloaked figures and agile, wall-climbing spiders.
Weapons picked up throughout the temple enhance your combat abilities, giving you access to a diverse arsenal, including crossbows, bazookas, sword launchers, and energy-based phaser rifles. These weapons add variety to the game, allowing you to experiment with different attack strategies. Managing ammunition and med kits becomes a big part of the experience, ensuring you have to think strategically rather than just rely on firepower.
Campaign mode: You have to make your way through three separate temples, each with its own set of challenges and enemy types. As you clear rooms and defeat waves of enemies, you will unlock new areas, going deeper into the ruins to discover greater dangers.
Endless mode: If you are looking for a big challenge, Endless mode tests your endurance by constantly generating waves of enemies with increasing difficulty. Picking up weapons and med kits becomes an essential lifesaver, requiring careful resource management to survive as long as possible.
Multiplayer: The game really shines in two-player mode, where friends can team up to fight hordes of enemies in cooperative mode or go head-to-head in a competitive arena fight. Cooperative play requires teamwork and coordination, as players must cover for each other and share resources to survive. Meanwhile, competitive mode turns the temple into a battlefield, where players use the environment and scavenged weapons to gain the upper hand.
